The allowance for caring for a child under 3 years of age will increase from February 1, 2023.
After the increase, the allowance for the first child will be Br605.99, for the second and subsequent children - Br692.56, for a disabled child - Br779.13. Benefits increased by 9%.
As explained in the ministry, in accordance with the law No. 7-Z of December 29, 2012 "On state benefits to families raising children", the amount of allowance for caring for a child under the age of 3 years is recalculated twice a year: from February 1 and from February 1 August.
The allowance for caring for a child under the age of 3 is: for the first child - 35%, for the second and subsequent children - 40% and for a disabled child, regardless of the order of his birth - 45% of the average monthly salary of workers in the republic for the quarter.
Overall, spending on benefits for caring for a child under the age of 3 in 2023 will amount to Br2 billion.
