Analyzes, develops and implements a general strategy for the social and economic development of Baranovichi District;
coordinates the work of the structural divisions of the Baranovichi District Executive Committee in terms of economic development of Baranovichi District;
Supervises economic matters, property relations, non-cash payments, statistics and analysis, entrepreneurship and investment policy, insurance activities, foreign economic and regional relations, innovation, public procurement, trade, public services, roadside service (in terms of trade and catering), consumer protection.
Oversees:
structural divisions of the Baranovichi District Executive Committee responsible for economic development of Baranovichi District;
rural executive committees in terms of social and economic development of territories, trade and consumer services, provision of peat briquettes to households;
enterprises and organizations of the manufacturing sector, catering, trade, consumer services and services sector, organizations of all forms of ownership, the Baranovichi district postal service center of the Brest branch of the national unitary postal service provider Belpochta;
development of the main guidelines of social and economic development of Baranovichi District, creation of new jobs;
systemic analysis, formulation and adoption of prompt measures to implement social and economic development programs;
financial and economic development of organizations of supervised industries;
statistics and analysis;
management of state property and privatization;
possessory supervision in business entities, shares (stakes in authorized capitals) owned by Baranovichi District;
small and medium-sized businesses;
consumer protection;
foreign economic relations;
investment activities in Baranovichi District;
pricing;
money circulation;
work with insolvent organizations of Baranovichi District;
harvesting (procurement) of wild plants (mushrooms, berries, technical and medicinal raw materials);
reform, reorganization, liquidation of enterprises located in Baranovichi District;
interaction with banks in terms of servicing and lending to organizations of supervised industries and investment projects;
accounting and control over the use of objects owned by Baranovichi District;
distribution of labor resources and promotion of employment;
labor protection;
registration and liquidation of business entities;
activities of horticultural associations;
issuance of licenses to individual entrepreneurs and legal entities;
timely payment of wages at enterprises, in organizations of Baranovichi District;
district council for labor and social affairs;
prevention of economic insolvency (bankruptcy);
regulation of public procurement and procurement using proprietary funds;
development of commercial organizations;
writing-off of property owned by Baranovichi District;
recommitting idle state property owned by Baranovichi District into economic turnover;

Takes charge of the commissions, councils, groups formed by the decision of the Baranovichi District Executive Committee, by order of the chairman of the Baranovichi District Executive Committee.
Supervises the implementation of appropriate state programs.
