On 6 December, The Tree of Life monument was unveiled in Brest in memory of the victims of the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War. A garden at the intersection of Gogol and Zubachev streets was chosen as the site for the Tree of Life in Brest. The participants of the ceremony honored the memory of the war victims with a minute of silence and laid flowers at the memorial sign.
